Samsung is reportedly working on a 1000 fps camera sensor for the Galaxy S9 to rival the already onboard Sony Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Premium. With this dual camera system at back will boast the Galaxy S9 camera like a beast. Also it is rumored of coming with in screen fingerprint scanner.
According to the report in the ETNews, 1000fps camera sensor is expected to enter the mass production in November, leaving more time for it to be included in the upcoming Galaxy S9, which is could be launched in January, if the recent rumours and leaks are to be believed.
For the first time in industry Sony has designed and manufactured the triple-stack sensor to shoot at 1000 frames per second (fps) on the Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Premium. But Samsung won’t follow the same route as the Sony of designing the triple-stack sensor but it opts for dual-stack setup says some rumours.
Apart from the camera of the Galaxy S9, it is rumored to sport a 5.8 inch infinity display, an in display fingerprint scanner and the powerful Snapdragon 835 chip. Samsung recently filed a patent for the full screen display, so we can expect a bezel-less edge to edge screen like Essential Phone and the iPhone X.
