iOS 11.0.1 released to address Outlook, Exchange Email bug fix

iOS 11.0.1 released to General Public

Apple released the iOS 11.0.1 to the public on September 26, exactly one week after the official release of the biggest iOs ever, the iOS 11.0.0. iOS 11.0.1 released to address some of the general bug fixes, and also some users reported, they were not able to send and receive the outlook and exchange mails hosted on outlook.com and office 365 servers. Now this issue is fixed.

This update is importantly  security update, also provides fixes to enhance the experience of the operating system. Apple didn’t mention any specific threats that iOS 11.0.1 would fix, but as far as we know it has fixed one particular fix with the Mail app sending emails using Exchange/Outlook servers.

iOS 11.0.1 is available to download on the iPhone 5S and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation.

  1. Make sure you are ready to download iOS 11, if you haven’t yet
  2. Now head over to Settings app
  3. Hit the General
  4. Now, hit the Software Update.
  5. Now, press the Download and Install. Done, Just follow the onscreen instructions.
