Android Oreo has landed back in August with lots of new features and security improvements. There were lots of speculations and heresy about the Samsung Android 8.0 Oreo update. Until now company has not given any official statement on the update schedule, but Samsung has now officially gave a statement on the Android Oreo update for Samsung phones via its Turkish news site.
According to XDA Developers post, Samsung has already started working on the Android Oreo 8.0 and the company aims to start rolling out the latest Android update early 2018. The statement didn’t mention anything about which device will get it first, but it is very obvious that Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will be the first batch to receive the update.
In another statement on the Turkish news site, Samsung will offer new features with the update. Which includes the standard Oreo features like Night Mode, new emojis and improved notifications.
This statement arrived early this month on 4th October but it took this time to notice the news. If you are wondering why Samsung announced this in Turkey rather than another city, because every Samsung update typically hits the Turkish market first. It suggests Turkish market to get the Samsung Android 8.0 oreo update soon.
